Hello, I’m Catherine and I am the Area Manager of Mill House Nurseries and Clubs. I studied Primary Education at York St John University, gaining my BaHons and QTS in 2012. I have 10 years teaching experience, working in a range of year groups and schools in North and East Yorkshire.

I began working at Mill House in February 2019 at our site in Cawood. Since then, I have become Manager at Mill House Nursery Escrick before taking on the role of Area Manager. As Area Manager, I provide support across all our nurseries and clubs, ensuring that each setting delivers high-quality care, learning and experiences for the children.

At home, I love spending time with my husband and our twins Isaac and Jasmine. I also like to cook and bake as well as cuddle up with a good book.

St Patrick’s Day

The children have had a wonderful time celebrating St Patrick’s Day! They got creative making beautiful bead shamrocks, explored a fun and exciting “lucky charm” tuff tray, and even had a go at some Irish dancing Lots of smiles, laughter, and learning all around – what a lucky day we’ve had!
