🍎Shanah Tova – Happy New Year 🍎
Today, at Mill House Nursery, we have celebrated the Jewish New Year called Rosh Hashanah.
This celebration is a time for Jewish people to focus on reflection, forgiveness, and new beginnings, often through family traditions like eating sweet foods like apples and honey, hearing the shofar (ram’s horn), and engaging in reflective activities.
The children at nursery have created some wonderful pieces of art, using apples as their focus. Our Pre-School children loved making honey and apple biscuits for everyone to enjoy and we have all enjoyed some reflective time.
We wish you all a Sweet and Healthy New Year 🍯
