At Mill House Nursery, we understand the importance of a balanced, nutritious diet in the growth and development of young children. That is why we have created a diverse menu of meals, each carefully designed to be delicious and nourishing.
Our meals are prepared fresh every day using high-quality ingredients. Our menu is planned with all children’s dietary requirements in mind. We also seek out the children’s thoughts and opinions, placing their favourite meals on each menu.
Each meal time is a sociable affair, with all the children and staff sat together, developing their personal, social and emotional skills through quality interactions.

Breakfast
Breakfast is a self-served meal consisting of a range of cereals, porridge and wholemeal toast.
Monday:
Lunch – Roast gammon, new potatoes and fresh, seasonal mixed vegetables
Tea – Pitta, houmous and vegetable sticks
Pudding – Homemade jam and coconut sponge
Tuesday:
Lunch – Toad in the hole with seasonal mixed vegetables and gravy
Tea – Wholewheat crackers, cheese and ham with vegetable sticks
Pudding – Bananas and custard
Wednesday:
Lunch –Spaghetti Bolognese and salad
Tea – Egg muffins with mixed vegetable sticks
Pudding – Rice pudding and fruit compote
Thursday:
Lunch – Vegetable chilli and rice
Tea – Homemade pizza
Pudding – Fruit salad with natural yoghurt
Friday:
Lunch – Fishcakes with seasonal mixed vegetables
Tea – Croissants with mixed vegetable sticks
Pudding – Fresh fruit tart
